This year I had a major breakthrough in my treatment: I realized I have both Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Small Intestine Bowel Overgrowth (SIBO). The interplay between these two diseases made diagnosing them extremely difficult. (It took me 12 years and five doctors: two GPs, a gastroen
Am I the only person who pronounces this drug as if I'm speaking Parseltongue? Gotta have some fun in the pharmacy somewhere. :)
NOTE! This list has gotten too big according to reddit so new ideas/actual recipes will be added in comments. I felt the need to make this post, because I would have found this post invaluable when I first started on this diet. After a month or two on this diet, I was still feeling my way through, b

I’m having a pain flare up, so what better time than now to type out my longest Reddit post. Happy to answer any questions/ explore any ideas. There is a TLDR! To be transparent, I have yet to be actually diagnosed with endometriosis. My providers and I have been very sure I have it for years now.

Both Dicyclomine and Hyoscyamine belong to the Anticholinergic (GI) class. While they share a similar mechanism of action, differences in pharmacokinetics, dosing, and side effect profiles may make one more suitable than the other for individual patients.
Both medications are approved for IBS, GI Spasm. When two drugs treat the same condition, the choice between them often depends on the patient's medical history, other medications, tolerability, and prescriber preference.
