So I got a prescription for oseltamivir 30 mg with instructions to take 1-2 tablets 6 times a day as needed. I called on it right away because that sig made no sense at all. I didn't even realize that the prescriber was a dentist until I called the office and was told he wasn't available right now.

Anyone else run into this? I've gotten multiple rejections for plan limit, saying they will pay for 75 every 180 days (hasn't been filled this year). Talking with ins. reps goes nowhere. Also do you guys fill 2 or 3 bottles when you get an rx that requires 125mls?

Does anyone know of a source where one could look up typical expiration dates of medications before they order a ton? Tamiflu, as an example, if it's good for 2 years, I'd be less hesitant to order a little surplus. As a bonus, has anyone recently received any oseltamivir? Mind sharing your expira

Hey I’ve always dosed Tamiflu from 75bid to 30bid for crcl 30-60. Just had a guy telling me 75mg once daily is fine. Can’t find any articles to reflect that. Anyone have a reference on that? Or seen it? Thanks
