Hi all, I hope to develop antibiotic resistance in a bacteria strain by directed evolution. The purpose is to demonstrate evolution on a small time-scale. I think the easiest (/lowest budget) way would be to use a beta-lactam sensitive strain and transform with Penicillin resistance (beta-lactamase)
