I apologize if this is long. I truly do not know where else to go. My mom is 68. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2016 but may have had it a couple years before then. They do believe she has Parkinson’s dementia. She is on carbidopa and just started entacapone as the wearing off was very bad.

Edit: Posted this in the wrong subreddit, mods took it down and made me post it over here. Made this post last night. Here is my life story and background into my experience with being a Parkinson’s caregiver. And I have about had it. Basically asking for any pointers/tips/help at this point. I (F23
I was diagnosed 2 years ago. Stuffness in my right extremities. Have been taking Rytary with entacapone and sometimes I feel like the meds do nothing. I haven't really progressed according to my neurologist. I exercise every day. 4 days a week of running and 3 of weight lifting. Anyone had a simila
At this week's checkup the MDS asked if I wanted to try entacapone for extending 'on' time. We already do a mix of regular and ER C/L. Her only concern was that it might worsen issues with excessive daytime sleepiness. If you've tried it, or if you provide care to someone who has, what was the exper

I have been on this new ‘journey’ for months now. I am 6 months postpartum with my third child and about 3 months ago I developed rashes around my eyes and all over my arms and hands. I had sudden weight gain/inflammation. Went to check basic labs and of course everything was ‘normal’. Went back 2 w
