METOPROLOL vs VALSARTAN

I am currently taking amlodipine 2.5mg once a day and metoprolol 25mg twice a day. I just got this reading this morning. Can I stop taking amlodipine? Is this blood pressure low?

He wants to put me on 25mg metoprolol because I told him my BP is normal at home but always 160/100 in clinical settings. He said all these spikes over time add up and take a toll. Would it be worth taking? The elevated pulse was because I just got done running like 15-20 min ago.
