FINAL UPDATE: after his final IV antibiotics appointment today we met with an awesome doctor. Essentially he said that when we first went into the ER to get him looked at the other doctor fucked up by not draining the hematoma or whatever it is on the front of his leg and he probably has phlebitis.
Anyone have any thoughts on how ceftriaxone would cause this? Part of me thinks it’s just an odd coincidence, patients were in the hospital in the first place, and a whole lot of people receive ceftriaxone. But, anything is possible I suppose
