Was reviewing a patient's medical chart. Thought to myself "Man I wonder if anyone mixed up Fenofibrate and Phenobarb". Any times when you or someone you know mixed up two sound alike drugs?
Besides the different doses offered with each formulation, does anyone know the difference between these three forms of fenofibrate? They're not interchangeable with each other either.
Has anyone seen this combination used in the retail setting? The Zetia package insert states these can be used in combination, but I was just wondering how that translates to real life.
