So the other day, we got a script with the directions along the lines of “take 1 tablet by mouth, wait two hours, get sweaty, then take 1 tablet.” We called the office to verify it, and they acted like we were the morons for calling about it. Does anyone have any idea what the purpose of this is? L
I was a little confused by a question that asked if I would make ketoconazole (powder) in ointment or paste. The quickest reasoning I had was to make it in paste because this formulation contains more powder (about 20 \~ 25%) but ketoconazole is usually sold in cream. Help?*📷*
Does anyone know if it’s safe to use ketoconazole cream if the patient has an allergy to fluconazole? Or if they have a systemic allergy to flagyl but safe to use vandazole? Can’t really find anything out there and don’t really recall anything from class. Thanks in advance
