https://imgur.com/a/jyU3YII My baby has been in the hospital for a week and they just keep finding more stuff wrong with him. Pretty sure I just had a nervous breakdown because there is no solution or plan and I just want to figure out what’s wrong. TL;DR: heart murmur, pulmonary hypertension, PDA,
I’m reaching out for advice and support regarding my boyfriend, who is currently in the hospital on a ventilator. He’s 37 years old, 5'8", and weighs 180 pounds. His health has deteriorated rapidly over the past few months, and I’m desperate to find answers. In July, he took some herbal Chinese medi
I was wondering if anybody knew of more “fun” promotional neck ties or other subtle items I could wear to labs (I’m currently studying to get my PharmD).
Inspired by the very interesting and informative pharmacy in Denmark thread, I thought I would tell you about pharmacy in my country. * Pharmacy is a 4 year undergraduate degree and to become a registered pharmacist, you must also complete a year of supervised practice (called internship but it is p
I have a patient who has been refilling his sildenafil earlier and earlier each month. It's for 100mg once daily for ED. So far he's had 5 fills since the beginning of the year. Each Rx has been for 30 tablets for a 30 day supply. To be more specific the dates are: * 01/05/24 * 01/22/24 (17 days)\*
I'm desperate for help, this is not an ER-level emergency but I'm scared and need direction. Husband is 38, caucasian, 5'10" and about 200-215 lbs. Only past medical issues were the occasional migraines as a teenager (Imitrex) and mild ED (Sildenafil). We are in Ontario, Canada. He's in moderately g
Why do seasoned doctors still write so many rx without frequency? I’m working at a store that is getting killed by rite aid transfer in and I don’t have time for them! Omeprazole 20 mg “take 1 capsule as directed as needed” Oxycodone 30 mg “take 1 tablet as needed for pain” Sildenafil 20 “take 1-5
This seems like a dangerous combination. Everything I've read so far has stated these medications should not be taken together. Should this be reported to the DEA or is there new research suggesting this is a safe combination?

So, prefacing this post with saying I can be considered an absolute newbie to pharmacy. I have a knowledge of things drug-related, and am pursuing a pharmacy degree. I happen to be confused. See my post here http://www.reddit.com/r/DrugNerds/comments/1yx92e/solubility_of_sildenafiltadalafil_for_oral
Everyone else doing tadalafil etc refills all day today? 😂 I bet half of these dudes are gonna strike out or a base hit at most 😅🤣🤣
I was picking up a shift from a rph callout for some overtime today and then a doctor sent over both nitrostat and tadalafil. I noticed that pt was on both rx for awhile and the regular staff just overrode it with no notes. Is there any valid medical reason to be on both? I’m just scratching my hea
I currently get my generic 40mg Vyvanse prescriptions from a healthcare facility that has a policy to urine drug test every quarter. This is to make sure that I'm taking the medication and not selling it. To my shock, the results from the lab showed that I tested negative for amphetamines. Is there
Not sure if anyone noticed but it looks like a couple new manufacturers started making Tadalafil tablets. Good RX now has a coupon for 30 x 5 mg for $30. It seems like overnight the price plummeted.
What do you guys think? What are you documenting if you would fill it?
The MHRA has decided to reclassify Tadalafil 10mg (as Cialis) as a P medicine. When marketed, it means it can be bought in a pharmacy without a prescription. A pharmacist is still expected to consult etc. the same as with Viagra.
Generic Cialis 20 mg (Tadalafil 20 mg by Prasco) is AB1 rated. Generic Adirca 20 mg (Tadalafil 20 mg by many manufactures) is AB2 rated. In an orange book state, if the Prescriber writes for Cialis 20 mg, can you give them the generic Adirca 20 mg, given that it's AB2 Rated? &#x200
However, the patient has been on this doing well. I’m wondering if there’s a lack of data? **edit: this is a dialysis patient Thanks!
